thanks dr mixx. I appreciate that.

btw, I just notice din the first post, jason. You called it onelifemusic. the radio station was oneliferadio.com, not onelifemusic. You were probably getting it confused with my older show realifemusic. LOL

Well, I've got a shoutcast re-broadcasting server up now. I currently have the ability to do 16 simultaneous listeners at 64k each. I can discuss expanding it with my shoutcast host. I believe the understanding was that I could expand it to at least twice as much before I had to pay for more. For now at least with a little bit of traffic I have the server for free for 3 or 4 months.

I'm going to start a new topic over in the Left-Overs about this and I'd like to hear from you regarding numbers of listeners for theblend and stuff.

I absolutely do. Well, it's probably worth a try. My good friend Courtney Creighton who is a web designer and christian brother has his own server and does web hosting. He is in the process of setting up his server for shoutcast rebroadcasting.

I had tinkered with the idea of having my own internet radio show and so for my birthday he offered me a few months of free shoutcast hosting. So what I would do is at least discuss this with him and see if he thinks he could handle the volume that theblend had, and see how much he would charge for doing it. So let me know if that sounds good and if so try and give me a guess of how many listeners you would have at once..

I feel silly. Thanks for the kind words.

*sigh* I wish oneliferadio / theblend were active right now. Due to complications we are forced to be silent once again. We need a reliable audio host, shoutcast or anything that will be there for us. Any ideas?
