LOL,

I guess I\'ve been pretty bad at being a moderator here. I mean...I\'ve left so many forum posts unanswered. The very thing that I was so proud of - that I could monitor the posts with RSS feeds - has not served me because I left it alone for so long.

I want to make it up to you all. I\'m going to regularly monitor the feeds now and when somebody makes a post, I\'m going to be there to reply.

Hey there.... Ya sorry for the really late reply! I\'ve gone through a lot lately... namely surgery. Anyhow, I have a bit more time for this site now.

Yes, there aren\'t a lot of forum posters yet. The site and the forum has been around for a fair amount of time, but doesn\'t really get a lot of attention.

I would highly suggest the following christian producers and groups which you should be able to find at beatport.com or any other online download store..

QuillRoader
Shiloh
Andy Hunter
Major Pax
Karl Forde
Gerald Dubois
Digital Aura
Sixty-Six

Also highly recommended is to check out Cast The Fire for promos and free mixshows/mixsets from christian DJs who spin a lot of the stuff we\'re talking about. Cast The Fire\'s site was down last I checked, but I expect it to be up soon.

Another good resource is Tastyfresh.com.

Be blessed,

Hey, I am going to be at a Christian camp for two months, and we\'re not allowed to bring secular music. I have a problem with this - I mostly listen to music that lacks much in the way of lyrics, so I\'ve been trying to find out about any self-proclaimed Christian electronic musicians that produce music similar to my tastes.

I tend to listen to electronic/sampling groups/artists like Autechre, Justice, and DJ Shadow, and trance/dance groups/artists like Underworld (they have lyrics I like, and the singing doesn\'t generally steal the show, it\'s more of a background thing sort of thing), Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Paul van Dyk.

I heard the members of Justice are Christians... maybe I\'m missing the point, but I don\'t generally listen to music for the message in the lyrics, I listen to it for the way it sounds (and yes, profanity and other offensive lyrics do detract from the way music sounds).

One more thing, there don\'t seem to be many posters - How long has this forum been up?

New topic: “SOME NEW STUFF FOR THIS SITE!” by SixtySix

Hey folks,
I\'ve been at it again. Tweaking away at the code and theme of this site to make it cooler.

I\'ve added some widgets to the side-bar which will show things like the forums and how many posts in each one, the recent comments, and some various other stuff that I\'ll be throwing in, like little advertisements for my other projects, or friends projects, such as Cast The Fire.

I\'ve moved the TechnoChristian News Network in the sidebar down to its own section that can be folded up/unfolded from the rest of the menu. I think it looks nicer now too!

Also I\'ve added the \"Share This\" feature...which I hope works for everyone, ...let me know if you\'re having trouble with it. It lets you share a post or page with somebody via email, or social bookmarking sites like digg.it or del.ic.ious. It should be fun.

Also added was a feature that is supposed to help curb the comment spam that I\'ve been getting ...which should be totally transparent to you folks, but if you have trouble commenting, let me know.

Thanks!

HEY!

I've been busy working on things around here.

I've updated a few things around the site here at technochristian and you might have noticed the corners of the boxes are rounded again... the header graphic isn't grainy anymore - I updated the image and cleaned it up a bit and changed the format and now it is even a smaller file size.

You also might wanna check out my own site for Sixty-Six over at sixty-six.technochristian.com because I redesigned it and updated it quite a bit!

Thanks for checkin' it out and for being a regular user and supporter of TechnoChristian.com and OneLifeRadio!

It sure would be a nice thing to have a mini html wysiwyg editor for the topic posting form too huh. At least the basic features, ...bold, italic, underline, link, etc.

Hi gang,

I am far too busy right now to be working on any new music or remixes even though its my passion and desire to be doing so. I'm building towards the unlimited potential of free time in the very near future however. I should have my business working completely for me and not me working for my business within a couple of months or less. Once the holidays come around I expect to have a little bit more time possibly.

So although I am personally taking a break, I really encourage you all to work together and team up to make new music and collaborate!

Hey Andy,

I am thinking I'd like to take you up on that offer and join DeepLife Records. I would come on board as an individual artist, but I'm talking about getting the group (Sixty-Six) to agree to join too.

I'd appreciate any info you can give on joining. I mean, with most record labels you have some expectations and responsibilities and they give you so much percentage and what-not, so if you wouldn't mind sharing those details..

Thanks!
